THE OFFICIAL BUILDING

This official building is located in a cold and dry region. It was designed for environmental sustainability purposes. The design of the building form was influenced by  the neighbouring buildings and by the axis of the entering path to the building. Causing heat and rising the humidity level was best achieved by natural resources. This was done in a way which integrated the most attractive aspects of nature, which are water views and plants.

Heat is meant to be blocked from escaping, by an intensive plan which operates as an obstacle.

A green-house with a wide pond at it’s base, is located at the southern side. The energy of the sun is captured .It evaporates a part of the water . This leads to the transition of the heat and humidity of the green-house to inside if  windows get opened.

An indoor garden is located at the center of the plan with grass and plants and water scenes. This integrates nature with the building and gives a lively interior view. It functions in a similar way to the green-house .The solar collectors at the top of this garden have three different angles. The different angles of the solar collector enables it to capture the maximum energy of the sun through three different seasons , outside of summer .The perpendicular summer sun energizes the interior directly through the transparent roof of the garden.

At the eastern side of the building there are different rows of trees and ponds. The summer breezes get stronger by flowing between the rows of  trees. When it hits the pond evaporation, water evaporates. When opening the windows, humidity runs inside.
